This study involves five brief stages, each consisting of short survey sections. You will answer questions about your feelings of loneliness, your perceived stress, your emotions, your mental well-being, and some basic demographics (e.g., age, gender). You will be able to go back and forth between sections in case you want to change an answer. To remove a response that has already been made, change your response to "Prefer not to say".

First, thank you very much for taking part in our study!
A study published in 2025 by Osman Hatun found that feelings of loneliness were associated with increased stress, increased negative experiences, decreased positive experiences, and decreased mental well-being. Loneliness specificaly seemed to be associated with decreased well-being through its effects on perceived stress and positive experiences.
The goal of this study was to replicate Hatun (2025) as part of a class project. Students will analyze the new data and assess the extent to which the replication reproduced the results from the original study. Replication is an important part of science that has historically been ignored in social science research.
